This End User License Agreement (“EULA” or “Terms of Use”) is a legal agreement between you and Siraat (developed by Obimanso Technologies) governing your use of the My Siraat mobile application and related services (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
1. Licence
Siraat grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on any Apple-branded or Android device that you own or control, in accordance with the usage rules of the relevant app store. This licence does not allow you to use the App on any device you do not own or control, and you may not distribute or make the App available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at once.
2. Your account and data
To use core features, you create an account and record details about your prayers. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Your personal and prayer data are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Subscriptions
The App offers an auto-renewable subscription (“Siraat Premium”) that unlocks additional features such as extended history and deeper analytics. The following terms apply to auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store:
- Title and length of subscription: Siraat Premium is offered as a recurring subscription. The available subscription options and their durations (for example, monthly or yearly) are shown on the subscription screen within the App.
- Price: The price of the subscription is displayed on the subscription screen in the App and on the App Store product page at the time of purchase, in your local currency.
- Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: The subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan.
- Managing and cancelling: You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings on your device after purchase. To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Free trials: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Subscriptions purchased through the Google Play Store are governed by the equivalent terms and are managed through your Google Play account settings.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App.
- Do not use the App to harass, harm, or deceive others.
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except as permitted by law.
- Do not upload unlawful, hateful, misleading, or infringing content when publishing reflections.
5. Spiritual guidance disclaimer
Siraat provides tools, reminders, and AI-generated encouragement to support your prayer practice. It is not a substitute for scholarly or religious authority. Prayer times and recommendations are provided for convenience; please verify important religious matters with qualified sources. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate — use your own judgement.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Siraat and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
8. Termination
This licence is effective until terminated. Your rights under this EULA will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. You may also stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
9. Apple-specific terms
This EULA is between you and Siraat only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against you.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
