Welcome to Siraat. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Siraat website (siraat.org) and the My Siraat mobile app (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Using Siraat
Siraat is a tool to help you track, analyse, and reflect on your daily prayers. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Your content
You retain ownership of the prayer logs, notes, and reflections you create. By publishing a reflection to the community feed, you grant Siraat a non-exclusive licence to display that content within the Service. You are responsible for the content you publish and must not post anything unlawful, hateful, misleading, or that infringes the rights of others.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or access it in unauthorised ways.
- Do not use the Service to harass, harm, or deceive others.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service except as permitted by law.
- Do not upload malicious code or attempt to compromise other users’ accounts.
Spiritual guidance disclaimer
Siraat provides tools, reminders, and AI-generated encouragement to support your prayer practice. It is not a substitute for scholarly or religious authority. Prayer times and recommendations are provided for convenience; you should verify important religious matters with qualified sources. Siraat is intended to encourage consistency through support, not to issue rulings.
AI-generated content
Some features use artificial intelligence to summarise your data and offer coaching. While we take care to keep this content respectful and helpful, AI-generated output may occasionally be inaccurate. Please use your own judgement and consult trusted sources for religious guidance.
Service availability
We strive to keep Siraat available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for any loss arising from downtime or changes to the Service.
Termination
You may stop using Siraat and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Siraat and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
